Artist Bio
Aubrey Crilly is a multidisciplinary artist from Moore, Oklahoma currently finish their studies at the University of Oklahoma in Studio Arts with a specialization in ceramics and sculpture. During her junior year of undergraduate research, she attended a Ceramics class in which she began exploring conceptual art. Through hand pieced textiles and coil- built ceramics, she creates work that examines the alternative lives and versions of self that one leaves behind as they grow. This interest has led to Residual Wonder (2026), an immersive, interactive, and accessible installation consisting in audio, movement, textiles, ceramics, temporary tattoos, wood, and welded steel. Post graduation, Aubrey plans to continue her studies in textile work and soft sculpture through the pursuit of her MFA.
