About the event
Where the Smoke Settled is a solo exhibition by Aubrey Crilly composed of works that survived the artist’s own house fire and new works created in direct response to fire and smoke damage. The exhibition brings together drawing, found domestic objects, resin, wood,latex castings, and installation elements that examine survival, transformation, and the fragile threshold between loss and preservation. This immersive installation is a further exploration of the versions of self left behind as we grow.
